Production cycle

The production cycle may be divided into the following steps:

  1. TIMBER PURCHASING:

Beech Wood is the raw material we purchase: thanks to its natural technical qualities it turns out to be the most suitable wood for this kind of working process.

In order to obtain dowels of lasting gauging, the timber we buy shows a degree of humidity never over 11%.

  2. DOWELS MANUFACTURING:
Modern “Weining” machines shape the listels into small sticks which are then cut to desired size.
  3. DIMENSIONS:
Our product is of different diameters and lengths:

  4. CHOICE:

The dowels are made to turn on some equipment and then are selected by hand; this enables the operator to spot the faulty and broken pieces.

This task is performed with the utmost care, patience and scrupulosity. A careful selection prevents inconvenience which may occur when the dowels are inserted automatically.
  5. PACKAGING:
The dowels are packed as follows:
    • 10 kilos in cardboard boxes
    • 25 kilos in cardboard boxes
    • 20 kilos in sturdy sacks
    • 25 kilos in sturdy sacks

As regard export, the goods are packed on 600 kg. pallets: n° 24 boxes – 25 kg. each. Pallet size: 80x120x197h

    * Upon request, we label the boxes and the sacks with customer’s code.
